If this trip is cancelled because of bad weather there will be a second trip planned on Friday, 15th June.

There will be a guided Orchid Walk, led by Peter Smith on Sunday 3rd June. Meet at the footbridge onto the reserve at 10.00 hrs. Hopefully all four of the site’s species will be in flower.

The National Moth Night is spread over three nights this year to allow for the uncertainties of the British climate. Final arrangements have not yet been set so, if you would like to attend, keep checking the website nearer to the date.

There will be a Pond Dipping session on Wednesday, 8th August, led by Peter Smith. Meet by the Small Gravel Pit at 14.30 hrs. If you have any bored children or grandchildren bring them along.
