There will be a patch watch all day on 18th April. Come for the day or come for an hour. See what you can see as the migrants go through.

Someone will be on site most of the day to tell you what has been happening, or for you to give your sightings to.

There will be lots of Warblers and there might be some Waders, or even an Osprey or something.

In the past we have had Wood Warbler, Redstart, Winchat and Black Tern on this event.

Phil Burnham will be leading a butterfly walk at Annesley Pit Top on Sunday 30th May at 10.00am.

Meet at the car park in Newstead Village at SK524 530 (Over the railway, head for the factory, car park on left). If you get lost, phone me Phil Burnham, on 0776 536 9590.

There is a good chance to see Dingy Skipper and an outside chance to see Grizzled Skipper.
