[ 03/10/2010; ] Come to the lagoons for Patchwatch Day and see if you can add any species to the day list. Most Patchwatch days turn up around 75 species. The more eyes we have the more species we are likely to find. The Monthly Bird Count has been moved forward a week to coincide with the Patchwatch Day [...] [ 18/04/2010; ] There will be a patch watch all day on 18th April. Come for the day or come for an hour. See what you can see as the migrants go through. Each Patchwatch I tell myself there is no point arriving before dawn as I won’t get an owl anyway. I snuggle under the covers for another hours kip but then think, ‘Yes, but what if there is an owl there and I miss it.’ So I find myself stumbling around in the dark at 05.30 [...] [ 27/09/2009; ] The Dawn To Dusk Patchwatch will be held on Sunday September 27th. Come along and see if you can help boost the score.
