Another 21 Pyramidal Orchids were found on the north facing slope of the Deep Pit. A Hobby was the cause of a disturbance amongst the Swallows by the Railway Bridge. At least three Grasshopper Warblers were reeling around the Deep Pit. An Essex Skipper was found on the western end of the Slurry Lagoon. [...]

A Black-tailed Godwit was on the Slurry Lagoon for most of the day. Up to four Grasshopper Warblers were reeling during the day. [...] Three Little Ringed Plover were on the Slurry Lagoon with the gulls and terns this afternoon. [...] Seven Black-tailed Godwits were present on the Slurry Lagoon late afternoon feeding and preening.
